in june 2015 announced, eph acquire 95.6% stake in budapesti erőmű Électricité de france. budapesti erőmű owns 3 gas-fired cogeneration plants in budapest region: kelenföld power station (hu) (installed capacity of 188 mwe , 395 mwth), Újpest power station (hu) (105 mwe , 421 mwth) , kispest power station (hu) (113 mwe , 366 mwth). these plants meet 60% of demand heat in budapest , generate approximately 3% of hungarian electricity.
