background information

the first disc of release live concert, titled save our tism recorded @ max watt s house of music (then known hi fi bar) on 26 september 2003. title of disc refers madman entertainment, released albun. ron hitler-barassi stated:

i’ve never seen such pencil necked bunch of jerky movie aficionados in fuckin’ life. chicks anorexic , nervy , blokes have got little french moustaches, , i’m not kiddin this, bloody poster on wall elégie de la traverse un film de aleksandr sokurov [1]

the title of disc can seen expansion on statement, claiming live concert filmed acclaimed director michelangelo antonioni.

the concert

the concert features telethon hosted marcel proust (mark o toole) in tism need raise million dollars before end of concert or split good. comes after revealed powderfinger wish merge tism, tism deny merger because powderfinger refuse sense of humour .

this concert, tism concerts, contains many events occur on stage. along telethon running in background, concert includes: audio snippets of of callers , re-occurring host update on telethon, tism members jon st. peenis , les miserables push wheelie bins around stage, humphrey b. flaubert peeling piece of fruit, several members hitting inflated rubber balls crowd cricket bats , fan picked crowd sing on (he ll never an) ol man river , along other incidents.

the third disc in set, second dvd, contains content. filled interviews ron , humphrey , tour of melbourne highlighting places have been important throughout tism s career. on disc rare , unseen footage of tism concerts ranging first ever gig through 2002, full video collection (first pressings of white albun exclude else has had more sex me because video wasn t animated @ time) , other rare footage.
