Tying Windsor knot

to tie windsor, place tie around neck , cross broad end of tie in front of narrow end. fold broad end behind narrow end , push through inside of loop around neck. left , right sides of narrow end, , inside of loop, form triangle. third , fourth folds should complete 1 rotation around outside of knot. fifth fold brings broad end on top of knot front back. sixth , seventh folds again complete 1 rotation around knot. eighth fold should again bring broad end on top of knot behind; push end down through loop in front of knot made seventh fold, work out wrinkles, , pull knot tight. if tie unbalanced, untie knot , try again giving more or less length work with.
