haley has been prominent figure in anti-vaccination movement. haley incorrectly argues mercury exposure via dental amalgams , vaccinations may cause neurological impairments , diseases, such autism , alzheimer s disease. united states public health service , american dental association reject these claims.


haley has appeared in court expert witness against vaccine manufacturers, stating belief thimerosal causes autism, testimony has not been accepted. in 2008 judge ruled lack of expertise in genetics, epidemiology, , child neurology make impossible him supply necessary factual basis support testimony .
