hatchet ii has received negative reviews critics. based on 33 reviews collected rotten tomatoes, film has overall 36% approval rating critics, consensus stating funnier , more gleefully gory slasher sequels, hatchet ii aims so-bad-it s-good territory, can t quite hack it. comparison, metacritic, assigns normalized rating out of 100 reviews mainstream critics, film has received average score of 49, based on 11 reviews. adam green has said entry in series favourite.
