an issue united nations has been criticized on sexual exploitation , abuse un peacekeepers. gross problem brought light after anders kompass exposed sexual assault of children peacekeepers in central african republic. in vision statement, lajčák has expressed has 0 tolerance policy on sexual violence , abuse peacekeepers against civilian populations must. such violations must investigated , perpetrators brought justice. when asked in informal dialogues how peacekeeping operations strengthened, said there have been 3 independent reviews produced number of recommendations turned concrete resolutions of security council, of general assembly, , have implement. has consistently stressed importance of zero-tolerance policy sexual exploitation , assault peacekeepers, every question asked in informal dialogues. lajčák believes zero-tolerance people can trust united nations.
