the draw group stage held on 19 march 2013, 15:00 utc+8, @ afc house in kuala lumpur, malaysia. twelve teams drawn 3 groups of four. each group played on single round-robin basis @ centralized venue, cambodia, nepal, , philippines selected afc host groups. winners , runners-up of each group advanced final stage.



tiebreakers

the teams ranked according points (3 points win, 1 point tie, 0 points loss). if tied on points, tiebreakers applied in following order:
