remaining foundations @ sesklo


the sesklo settlement consists of 3 main phases. in general, there close houses centered around larger megaron paved courtyard. settlement had unusually thick wall on east side, middle late settlements of greater interest when considering neolithic fortifications. sesklo’s stone walls enclosed parts of acropolis , approximately 1 meter in width. there possibility capped structures create taller barrier, uncertain.
