the church dedicated st gomondas / gonandus (gonand or goenandus): tower medieval rest of church rebuilt in 1822. there fine norman font , churchyard cross. gonandus may perhaps identified breton saint conan, connected 3 places in diocese of vannes.


there 2 cornish crosses in parish: 1 in meadow near rectory garden thought in situ; other in churchyard has ornament on 4 sides of shaft.
