peckham drafted 75th overall in 2006 nhl entry draft edmonton oilers.


he made nhl debut oilers on march 7, 2008 against columbus blue jackets in appearance of nhl season.


he called oilers springfield falcons on february 13, 2009 , played 15 nhl games season. scored first point against nashville predators on march 2, 2010.


his first nhl goal scored following season on november 11, 2010 against detroit red wings.


on july 4, 2011, peckham re-signed oilers one-year contract.


on july 16, 2012, oilers re-signed peckham one-year contract. during nhl lockout, on november 5, 2012, peckham signed san francisco bulls of echl keep in game shape. played in 4 games 11 penalty minutes before leaving team, never reaching nhl physical form.


on july 19, 2013, chicago blackhawks signed peckham free agent one-year contract. assigned ahl affiliate, rockford icehogs duration of 2013–14 season.


on october 11, 2014, peckham signed one-year contract new echl entrant, wichita thunder. retirement of andrew martens, peckham selected team captain open 2014–15 season. peckham led thunder in 26 games 8 points before opting release of contract in oder pursue career abroad. on december 31, 2014, peckham agreed contract hc ’05 banská bystrica of slovak extraliga. featured in 5 games on course of month before opting depart third team in season, danish club, rødovre mighty bulls of metal ligaen on january 27, 2015.


during following off-season, peckham agreed one-year contract move england, in signing nottingham panthers. peckham later reneged deal panthers later return north america , signing one-year deal former echl club, wichita thunder on october 8, 2015. after spending remainder of 2015–16 season thunder, peckham free agent in following off-season opted continue in echl, signing rapid city rush on september 26, 2016. peckham released rapid city rush on september 30, 2016
