the nzru has several teams under control.


men

all blacks – national men s rugby union team of new zealand
junior blacks – second national team behind blacks , not age graded side.
sevens – national rugby sevens team of new zealand. established in 1983, when first full international side sent famous hong kong sevens tournament.
māori blacks – national men s māori team of new zealand. members of team must have @ least 1/16 māori ancestry (equivalent 1 great-great-grandparent).
under 20s – age graded side created after world rugby (then known irb) folded former under-19 , under-21 world championships under-20 competition known world rugby under 20 championship. country s top age-grade side, , referred baby blacks.
under 21s – age graded side has developed of today s current blacks, referred baby blacks.
heartland xv – established in 1988 expose players divisions 2 , 3 in air new zealand npc rugby @ higher level. after 2006 reorganisation of npc professional air new zealand cup, mitre 10 cup, , nominally amateur heartland championship, team consists solely of players heartland championship.
nz schools – development team of school players move under 20s , blacks.

women

black ferns – national women s rugby union team of new zealand.
sevens – national women s rugby sevens team of new zealand.

referees

the new zealand rugby union have number of contracted referees officiated in levels heartland matches itm cup , super rugby. system in referees selected, appointed matches , progress through next stage structured number of referee coaches, viewers , managers assisting them performances. however, 5 referees on professional contracts, glen jackson, chris pollock, garrett williamson, nick briant , mike fraser. professionals appointed refereeing super rugby matches sanzaar.
