racing career
early years

born in chester, stockton won 14 formula ford races including kent festival @ brands hatch on 3 seasons between 1999 , 2001. won 5 races in full seasons racing in legends series, breaking several lap records. in 2003/4 stockton raced tvr tuscan in national tvr tuscan challenge. placed car on front row @ rockingham 3/1000 of second off pole on first appearance. went on repeatedly beat reigning champion lee caroline in 7 meetings competed in. there several memorable battles caroline, keen, hay , others.


le mans 24 hours

in 2004 stockton 1 of 6 drivers raced brace of tvr tuscan t400 s @ le mans under chamberlain-synergy motorsport banner. quickest of 6 drivers in qualifying, , consistently produced fastest race laps during 10 ⁄2 hour multiple stints behind wheel. car first tvr complete french marathon.


british gt championship

in 2005 stockton raced intermittently in british gt championship alongside andy britnell in porsche 996. started season team aro before switching motorbase performance prior croft round went on take outright win in second race , first win motorbase. pair took class win @ silverstone on international circuit partnering.


british touring car championship
btc racing (2006–2008)

stockton driving btc racing @ oulton park in 2007 btcc season.


he made debut in btcc series behind wheel of btc racing lexus is200 @ brands hatch on 24 september 2006, alongside team-mate darren dowling. completed last 2 meetings of 2006 season.


in 2007 continued btc racing team , joined nick leason in second car. stockton suffered disappointing year mechanical problems hindering team s progress.


stockton continued in btc racing entry in 2008. team-mate successful truck racer stuart oliver. round 3 team switched ex-motorbase performance seat toledo cupras. despite having never driven in front-wheel-drive racing car, stockton finished 8th in race 2, best ever finish – though helped intermittently wet conditions hampering bmws.


with sale of both of teams seat toledos maxtreme without purchasing suitable replacement, team announced not enter series again in 2009.


thorney motorsport (2012)

stockton returned btcc final 2 races of 2012 season driving ngtc vauxhall insignia vxr-r thorney motorsport. forced withdraw silverstone event due illness, replaced tony gilham.


btc racing (2014–)

in october 2012, stockton revealed had purchased incomplete ngtc chevrolet cruze rml intended finish , enter in 2013 season under btc racing banner. despite being entered team did not appear @ races during 2013 season. stockton , btc racing granted entry 2014 season under new toca licence system.


gt4

in 2011 stockton linked ginetta race in european fia gt4 series organised sro. fastest in free practice 3 times not converted wins, race pace showed promise.


2012 saw stockton racing m3 gt4 in dutch gt4 championship first 2 rounds of season, gaining fastest testing times , p4. substantial accident curtailed remainder of season.


international gt3 open 2017-

stockton set share bentley continental gt3, reigning british gt cup champion jordan witt. pair race crewe based outfit, jordan racing. car supported factory squad m sport , managed simon leonard ( redline racing).


the squad p5 @ official championship test day @ catalunya ( barcelona), on 17th february 2017.
