between 1909 , 1915 cars built @ railway car factory rbvz. after 1917 revolution second factory opened in st. petersburg, built armoured cars on chassis produced in riga. in 1922, production moved st. petersburg btaz in moscow. russo-balt produced trucks, buses , cars, more or less copies of cars german rex-simplex or belgian fondu trucks.
