in response aryan guard s activities in city, calgary anti-racist activists held rally in support of calgary s multiculturalism , opposition racism , racist movements. members of aryan guard organized counter-protest in response anti-racist rally. on october 14, 2007, approximately 15 aryan guard members protested @ calgary city hall. drastically outnumbered anti-racism protesters. police forced step in safety precaution.


on march 21, date recognized both white pride world wide day , celebration elimination of racism , in 2008, aryan guard staged demonstration in downtown calgary. more 40 supporters of aryan guard faced crowd of on 200 anti-racist protesters prevented guard reaching planned meeting place @ mewata armouries. police formed human barrier between 2 groups , blocked movement of counter-protesters while escorting aryan guard down stephen avenue , steps of city hall, waved flags proclaiming white pride worldwide . members of aryan guard taunted jason devine , bonnie collins, local anti-racism activists home firebombed on february 12, 2008, while , 4 children inside. demonstration wound down, members of aryan guard escorted waiting school bus police , evacuated scene. unknown number of anti-racism protesters, had been under video surveillance during demonstration, detained left , forced have identification recorded police.


on march 21, 2009, aryan guard held white pride rally in downtown calgary confronted anti-racist, counter-protestors led brawl between 2 parties brought traffic standstill. several people had treated injuries. aryan guard had received media attention earlier year on january 10 when appeared @ protest against israel s actions in gaza strip, despite being asked leave protest organizers.
