mohale dam , reservoir


this phase of project completed in 2002. consisted of construction of:



the mohale dam, large rockfill dam, located on senqunyane river.
a 32 kilometer transfer tunnel between mohale dam , katse dam.
construction of matsoku diversion weir
a 5.7 kilometer tunnel matsoku diversion weir katse dam

the system interconnected in such way water may transferred in either direction storage in mohale or ultimate transfer south africa through katse reservoir.
