kansai university tokyo center (the tower on right, sapia tower)
kansai university museum began in 1954 donation of objects scholar , statesman kanda takahira(1830-1898). museum has 3 gallery floors , approximately 15,000 objects of archaeological, historical, ethnological, , art-craft contexts, important cultural property. designed acclaimed architect togo murano (1891–1984), building listed in registration tangible cultural property in 2007. building served main library of kansai university until construction of general library in 1985. famous object takamatsuzuka tomb. museum sponsors lectures , events, , runs extensive program of outreach local schools.
