the lanos phased out after 2002 model year, superseded worldwide daewoo kalos. daewoo ceased operations in north america. after gm took on daewoo become gmdat, chevrolet began importing daewoo kalos, rebadged aveo, north america beginning 2004.


the 2001 , 2002 models follow recent trend among cars intended sold in many markets, in rear lamps asymmetric, fog lamp , reverse lamp occupying complementary spots on driver s side , passenger side respectively; consequently, rear lamps differ between left- , right-hand drive examples.
