the golden door 1 of 5 wrought iron gates separate nave choir, reminder of separation between clergy , public in catholic times. gates made kaspar fincke, german-born artist.


in huge bell tower hang 8 bells. in 1642 lightning struck tower , set ablaze , damaged of bells. oldest (dating mid-13th century martinus ; pl cast in 1493, per tidichsøn s bell of 1505, caspar kønig s cast in 1746, m. c. troschell bell cast in 1762, , pair of l. andersen s bells 1893, , lastly came 1894 s. frichs bell.
