robinson started practicing alabama in august 2013 , played in first game of alabama s 2013 season on 31 august 2013. robinson , tight end o. j. howard alabama s true freshmen have both started game , played in every game of 2013 season. robinson true freshman under head coach nick saban @ alabama lead team in sacks.


robinson led alabama in sacks , seventh on team in tackles. named alabama s coaches 1 of defensive players of week in 3 of alabama s 12 games. no other true freshman player of week on offense or defense during 2013 season. @ alabama s annual awards banquet after 2013 regular season robinson 1 of 4 players receive iron man award given players have shown dedication individual , team goals of crimson tide’s year-round strength , conditioning program.


at end of first college football season robinson alabama freshman named sec coaches all-freshman team. robinson on 2013 sporting news freshman all-american team.



sophomore year (2014)

robinson selected 2014 first-team in pre-season media days all-sec team. held out of practices in august due sprained knee. led team in tackles in 2014 sec championship game versus missouri. first time in career led team in tackles. started every game in 2014 season, during alabama led nation in rushing defense. teammates gave him nickname of infamous a-tron, blend of a’shawn , megatron. robinson earned honorable mention on all-sec team after 2014 season.


junior year (2015)

robinson started every game second season in row , anchored deep defensive line helped alabama lead college football in rushing yards allowed per game, yards per carry allowed per game, , sacks. robinson led alabama in quarterback hurries , finalist outland trophy, award nation s best interior lineman (both offensive , defensive). robinson did not win outland trophy, , alabama football team used snub motivation in playoff game against michigan state. after season, robinson decided forgo senior year , enter draft.
