during marcos regime, preserve funded office of president. today, sanctuary administered palawan council sustainable development (pcsd). in recent years, many of families relocated have attempted reclaim land on calauit have not been successful. through executive order no. 722 ratified on december 12, 2008, administration of sanctuary transferred palawan council sustainable development provincial government of palawan on march 23, 2009. name changed calauit safari park. has become eco-tourism attraction.
