the popular traditional drink in kosovo rasoj made of fermented red cabbage. popular beverages include boza, lemonade, kompot (usually drank during autumn , made seasonal fruit such quince), beer, coffee , teas.



rasoj - probiotic fermented red cabbage juice consumed during winter
rakia - popular regional fruit brandy alcoholic beverage. in kosovo solely made grapes.
boza - soft drink made of maize , wheat flour. notorious being refreshing summer drink.
ajron - mix of yogurt, water , salt.
beer - of kosovo s local beers birra peja , birra ereniku , birra prishtina , etc.
compote - non-alcoholic sweet beverage may served hot or cold, depending on tradition , season.
coffee - drip brewed coffee, percolated, espresso (such macchiato , cappuccino), variety of instant coffee, etc.
tea - popular teas mountain tea, rose hip tea, black tea , peppermit tea.
