in dreamwave s war within series venom, chopshop , ransack members of ratbat s ultracons faction. in third series, age of wrath, accompanied ratbat peace talks shockwave s decepticons , ultra magnus autobots. when conference attacked starscream s predacons, deluxe insecticons helped fight them off. after megatron s reappearance, deluxe insecticons reabsorbed decepticons.


the deluxe insecticons later appeared in dreamwave comics micromasters series main antagonists.


3h enterprises

generation 1 ransack appeared among many prisoners of unicron escaped of optimus primal in transformers: universe #2.


idw publishing

ransack made brief appearance in spotlight issue on sixshot, 1 of decepticons on monitor duty sixshot enters control room in decepticon base.


arcee, bludgeon, longtooth, ransack, repugnus , skyjack among incarcerated in autobot penetentiary on garrus-9 in spotlight: arcee.

during original toyline, ransack 1 of 4 deluxe insecticons featured in second year in line. deluxe insecticons built bandai, , imported united states via hasbro. due arrangement takara (the japanese toy company built toys intended transformers), never appeared on tv in more animated commercials. television series shown in japan, bandai still owned images of characters.
in 1980s transformers such success hasbro wanted product out on shelves transformers name on possible. since running out of old takara molds use, obtained licences use molds of other companies robot toys in transformers line. shockwave, jetfire, omega supreme, roadbuster, whirl, chop shop, venom, barrage , ransack among molds. licences toys expired hasbro , takara no longer have legal rights figures , cannot reissue them.
the same toy imported in convertors toy line in 1980s insectors morphus.
