pontarddulais road retail park


fforestfach home out of town shopping complex centred on pontarddulais road in cadle area west. shopping area northeast of pontarddulais road has existed since 1970s , called pontarddulais road retail park . in november 2006 park , ride scheme introduced ferry shoppers swansea city centre.


the area southwest of carmarthen road/pontarddulais road, called parc fforest-fach, developed in 2000s. tesco store @ parc fforestfach had gross floorspace of 112,000 sq ft (10,400 m) in 2003 (and has since been expanded) making largest in wales.


swansea west business park largest post-war industrial estate in swansea. location of 140 businesses employing 1,500 people. there once greyhound stadium based @ site, closed , earmarked re-development.
