fictional character biography

zealot s real name lady zannah of khera. born on planet of khera, zannah , daughter kenesha (who @ time believed zealot sister) stranded on earth thousands of years ago when explorer ship crashlanded after battle daemonite warship. zealot survived lover, stratos, put in escape pod. zannah , other survivors scattered, forced hide amongst human population. enemies had likewise been forced down, , though less humanoid, daemonites used powers of possession , shapeshifting blend in, too. next few millennia, secret war raged, kherubim defending vulnerable , oblivious humans would-be conquerors.

zannah took name zealot when formed sisterhood of warriors, known coda, on earth. fought them many years, leading group while. however, incident occurred in troy (presumably during trojan war), causing branded traitor , expelled order. arranged coda greeks conquer troy in exchange 99 female babies raised new coda. helped ulysses conceive of trojan horse , stationed coda warriors inside it. during fighting decided killing of of unarmed women , children of troy going far, saved life of royal family. in doing decided fellow coda had betrayed precepts of coda. engaged in combat closest friend artemis, whom beat, refused kill. considered artemis mortal insult. 2 violations of coda precepts made lifetime (in case immortal lifetimes) enemy of coda. subsequent event, zealot spent century serving witch known tapestry. did payment tapestry saving kenesha s life after having been poisoned. during period tapestry tried brainwash zealot way of thinking, although zealot changed time working witch, managed retain true self inside. during stay tapestry though, zealot became proficient wielder of magics. magic taught though dark magic , soul corrupting. because of zealot swore never use again, had break promise when battled tapestry many years after original servitude.

however, revealed wasn t dead, had been targeted several coda factions. during time zealot found grifter in bar. having one-night stands women similar , drunk realize wasn t lookalike. had sex , attacked several coda warriors. after battle, ran away, later caught each other.

in wildcats version 3.0, zealot captured , sentenced death earth s coda sisterhood. while captured tortured near death multiple times. old friend grifter (in control of android ladytron) , ragtag group of warriors later came rescue.

once more on loose had team alongside mr. majestic yet again fight evil plot shapers guild recreate kherubim on earth (using device known planet shaper). during battle zealot s mother, lady harmony, killed. shortly after savant told true parents zealot , majestros. zealot teamed many former wildcat members, such grifter , majestic, fight zealot s longtime rival, nemesis.

zealot joins many of ex-wildcat teammates in unofficial form of group fight captain atom.

zealot s lover, stratos, did not die during crash. found time-travelling wildc.a.t.s-member condition red on ship before crash , taken along when condition red travelled present in wildc.a.t.s #49. stratos storyline has not been explored since then.
