in summer of 2011, laban renewed contract anorthosis 5 years. laban scored first goal of season against ethnikos achna on 16 december 2011. scored several other goals in 2011–2012 season, including 1 in cup match against paeek fc, club won 6–0, 1 during home championship match against ethnikos, won anorthosis 2–0. laban scored first goal against ermis, in friendly 2–0 win, on 30 december 2011. scored winning goal against enp, 77th-minute penalty kick. on saturday 14 january 2012, laban scored second penalty goal of season against enosis paralimni in 1–0 anorthosis victory.
