her earliest attempts @ creating art entailed construction of automated machine colored lights synchronized records. produced unsatisfactory result, leading development of instrument played live.


her color organ, named sarabet after mother, required invention of number of new technologies. received 9 patents patent office them. among these devices non-linear variety of rheostat, patent infringed general electric , other companies. sued them infringement , won in 1934. sarabet went through series of refinements between 1916 , 1934. in 1946 published book on invented art of light-color playing called nourathar: fine art of light-color playing.
